Phoma macrocapsa?
Jenny Seawright, 29-03-2015 23:46
Jenny SeawrightHi all,

From appearance and conidia size (4-5 x 1.5 µm) this seems possible for Phoma macrocapsa but it was on dead stems of Urtica rather than Mercurialis perennis .....?

Comments appreciated,
With regards,
Jenny

Re : Phoma macrocapsa?
Hello Jenny
This will be the anamorph of Leptosphaeria acuta, I think.

Best wishes
Paul

Re : Phoma macrocapsa?
Thank you for your reply Paul - and is the image below (on Urtica) also of the anamorph of Leptosphaeria acuta?

With regards
Jenny
