Calycina discreta ?
Garcia Susana, 16-12-2014 23:05
Hello

I found these stipitate apothecia in herbaceus stem. The size of them is 300-1300um.
Asci with apical aparatus IKI + (blue). Croziers +
I think it can fit with Calycina discreta (form H+), but I would like corfirmation of that.

Gracias, un saludo
Susana

Re : Calycina discreta ?
Yes, it is C. discreta. Only I cannot clearly see whether there are croziers. Do you have clearer photos about croziers? Usually C. discreta ist without, but a few collections are with.

Re : Calycina discreta ?
Yes, this is very clear!

I did not study the type of Karsten, so I am not sure about croziers there (maybe Seppo Huhtinen studied it). There is an Orbilia albomarginata Rehm nom. nud. which I have studied and fits C. discreta with croziers. But the name is not validly described and I would not use it.
