Found on horse dung.

Species develope as white sporangia first, than bright yellow and at last black with a very sticky columella underneath.
Many species were have a swelling half way in the sporangiophores.
Sporangia are covered with very fine hairs 1.2 um high, you can also see them as dots on a spread skin.

Sporangia: 127-238 um in diameter
Sporangiophores: length not measured; width 30-50 um
Columella: 120-160 um width; 50-70 um high.
Sporen: Oval; 7.5-8.5(9.5-11.5)x4.5-6.0 um

Re : Pilaira anamola

Zygomycete Chris.
The only information I found about this species was in the following:

Microfungi on miscellaneaous substrates (Ellis&Ellis) en Species of Pilobolus and Pilaira from India (Sydowia-30 283-289)

But the information in these documentations do not correspond with each other
Do you know a site where they have specific information about these species?

Re : Pilaira anamola
Certainly no asco, like Chris said! ;-)
But I think you're right with Pilaira anomala.
I'll attach two further works about the genus.
Maybe that will help you.

Best regards.
Norbert
