Gloniopsis praelonga

Bonjour à tous,

Hi all,

Quelqu'un a-t-il déjà vu le VRAI Gloniopsis praelonga ?

Some one has already seen Gloniopsis praelonga ?

Alain

Don't find my Zogg paper copy. How do the spores look in Zogg?

Re : Gloniopsis praelonga
Hi Zotto,

Eric Boehm put scans of the drawings in Zogg (1962) on his website: http://www.eboehm.com/gloniopsis.html

Best wishes,
Gernot

Re : Gloniopsis praelonga
Thanks, Gernot!

So this Zogg-praelonga has more longi- and transsepta than finds in my folder "praelonga" (HB 9187b, 8906a, 8775g, 8746a, 8643k, 7664i)

and also more than in my folder
"praelonga broad-spored + sheath" (8954d, 8690c, 8745b, 7415d)

For all of them I have no correct name.

Re : Gloniopsis praelonga

Hi Zotto,

I have only sawn HB7664i, which is very close to praelonga, and HB4640b which is, to my mind, H. smilacis.

Thanks for your reply,

Alain

Re : Gloniopsis praelonga

Hi Zotto,

A lot of thanks, at last I can see photos of collections of praelonga.

I would have classified like you. It's probably the good understanding of this taxa.

Your collections of cf praelonga are very amazing, an ined. Hysterobrevium-Gloniopsis,thus it looks like  Rhytihysteron. I have collections of H. mori which show that feature, too.

Thanks again, you help me a lot.

Re : Gloniopsis praelonga
If you refer to 8954d  I noted:
"W-Australia, Acacia. Sp. KOH 22-26 x 11 -> 26-29 x 13-14 µm, with distinct thick gel sheath. Yeollow pigment KOH-dissolved.
- compare Boehm Hysterobrevium constrictum but spores there much smaller!"

All fins of this folder are Australian.

Re : Gloniopsis praelonga

They are australian, ok, have you seen it in Germany ? in Europe ? I've never seen it in France. That's the reason why I called the forum.

Re : Gloniopsis praelonga
My praelonga folder contains one, besides Australian:

8908a: Mecklenburg, on ?Populus. Sp. *21-24 x (8.3-)9-10 µm.
Yellow pigment striking but not well visible on photos.

This looks to me not typical smilacis (?). Does smilacis have the yellow hymenium?
Yes, my 9818 smilacis from Asturias was yellow indeed.

9187b: Czechia, Karlsteijn - you already transferred to smilacis.

Re : Gloniopsis praelonga

8908a has also attracted my attention. Size according to smilacis, but with an "intermediate" shape.

Diificult to give a correct name in that case, even if it's close to smilacis.

We are on the samewave length.
