Xylaria guepini?

On a rabbit dung culture I found this species. No asci or spores found. Base up to 2,5cm wide, almost 3cm high.
Any (other) suggestions?
Regards,
Ralph

Re : Xylaria guepini?
Hello Ralph,
Peter is right, this primordium is that of P. tulasnei. It will remain sterile unless you bury the whole colony in sandy soil and with a bit of luck you will obtain the teleomorph within some months. The fertile heads are very small and barely emerging from the soil, thus easily overlooked.
Good luck!
Jacques
