Hello,I found this solitary yellow asco (0,3mm) on rabbit dung (in a culture). Asci J+ 95/100x20/24µm. Yellow paraphyses

Hello Ralph,
sometimes in moist chamber the development stops.
Mature ascospores of Saccobolus have to be purple!
And they form a typical cluster.
Maybe that your species is S. citrinus, but you can't be sure, because there are some similar species.

Even if I found S citrunus 3weeks ago, but because of the fact that I thought it was mature and I didn't see aan clustered purple spores, I thought I might be another genus.
