Ascomycete on oak cupules
Edit Szilvásy, 30-09-2013 22:59
Edit SzilvásyHi all,

I've found this ascomycete on oak cupules.  Apothecia 2-8 mm across.

Spores ellipsoid, hyaline,  24-5 µm

J-negative (Lugol)

Does anyone have an idea what this might be?

Thanks in advance

Regards, Edit

Hi Edit

This is Phaeohelotium geogenum (= Hymenoscyphus geogenus).

But the asci should have a small blue apical ring in IKI.
