Lasiosphaeria? on Potentilla palustris
Marja Pennanen, 30-07-2013 17:58
Hello,

I keep on eye some plants, that I find interesting.
Potentilla palustris is certainly one of them.
Now there were some hairy pyrenos on the leafs.
They are about 0,3 mm wide.
The asci are about 100x 10 and spores 20-25x4.
The hairs are brown, septate, one long measured was about 250x8.

This may be a Lasiosphaeria species, but I found no specises fitting to these characters from my sources.

Help is needed: Marja

How large is the collection?  If it has more than 30 ascomata and they are in good condition, I could sequence it.

Thanks,
Andy

Re : Lasiosphaeria? on Potentilla palustris
Hi Andy,

I got to count them. There are some leaves, that I collected, but these are only on few of them.
I can go to the place and try to find more, if needed.

Can you send your address to my e-mail in case, that there are enough?

Marja
