Pyreno on gelatinose subiculum
Maren Kamke, 25-06-2013 21:41
Maren KamkeHi erverybody,
I first thought this pyrenomycete was seated on an exidia. But I didn't find any structures of an basidiomycet.
This fungus has superficial? perithecia (0,2 mm) on wood, probably corylus. Setae black, pointed, 115-180 x 7-9 µm
Spores 1-septate, not constricted at the septum with a larger guttule in every cell, greybrown, (7-10) 8,27 x 3,5 (3-4) µm, Asci 60 x 4 µm, IKI negative.
Subiculum gelatinose, seperable, hypha up to 6 µm.
Thank you for your help.
Regards
Maren

and it could be very interesting !
I think you should contact Andrew Miller, specialist of this genus.
He will be very happy, you'll see.
