Maren Kamke,

Hi everybody,it should be something easy, I thought...
Closely packed together are the perethecia 0,8 mm wide, on wood (angiospermae).
They are located on a bed of dark brown hyphae.
Spore light brown, 1-septate, becoming 3-septate, filled with guttules, (31-38) 33,9 x 7,18 (6-8) µm. Asci 156 x 13, IKL negative, paraphyses filiform.
Thank you for your help.
Regards
Maren

Re : Pyrenomycete closely packed
Hi Maren,
seems to be Herpotrichia macrotricha ;)
Byssosphaeria schiedermayeriana is also very close, but I think this species has only one septation...perithecia should have a pale ostiolus.
