Pinkish on Luzula pilosa
Marja Pennanen,

I found some pinkish ascos on Luzula many years ago and could not determine them.
Yesterday I went to the area again and collected some.
Still no determination, so I need help.
They are thin, about 0,2-0,3 mm wide.
The spores are about 35-52x1,5; asci about 40-58x4-5, to my seeing IKI-.
Paraphyses are guttulate, about 2 micrometers wide.
Any suggestions?
Sorry, that my photos are once again poor: Marja

Re : Pinkish on Luzula pilosa
Hi Marja
the guttulate paraphyses surely exclude an ostropalean species. I am reminded more of a Diplonaevia but I fear I cannot help. No such spores are known in Diplonaevia.
Better images would certainly help :-)  and a section of the margin also, though this is almost  impossible.

Dear Zotto,
I'll try to get a better photo of the spores.
But after having hard times even to get some kind of preparate, because these were fragile and well attached to the surface, I can't promise a section.
Will try anyway.
No wonder, that I could not determine these ;)Â
Tried to fit to some Diplonaevia allready:Marja

Re : Pinkish on Luzula pilosa
yes, it shows the elongate cells and terminal hair-like ?warted structures.
