unknown dothideomycete
Björn Wergen, 09-12-2012 20:42
Björn WergenHi all,

I have found this small pyrenomycete on dead Clematis vitalba stems, but I do not really know what it can be. I think it has pseudothecia with no real ostiolus breacking through the surface (0,1-0,2mm broad).

Spores are mostly 3-5 septated, sometimes with a single longitudinal septation in 1 or 2 middle cells.

Asci are 8sp and 90-115x10-12µm, IKI-.

Perhaps someone has an idea. And perhaps someone has information about ascomycetes growing on Clematis.

regards,
björn
