I know for this forum for some time but I just recentrly registered. I am not a mycologist but I love to take fungi photos. Ascomycetes are very interesting for taking photos but very hard for determination (for me of course, Im a botanist). I plan to be more active on this forum and for beginning (the reason I registered) is to invite you to participate in International exhibition of photography that I organise. The theme are fungi of course. For details check http://www.naturefg.com/pages/fungikingdom.htm?
And since you are there please take a look at my fungi photos.
Best regards

Hi Dragisa
you have very nice photos! And you are right, I see that some of your identifications need to be reconsidered.
Arachnopeziza aurata: Eriopezia caesia
Lachnellula subtilissima: looks very strange to me
Orbilia sp. : O. crenatomarginata (= Hyalinia crystallina)

Hi Zotto, thanks for the very fast reply. It is possible that there are more mistakes.
I corrected Eriopeziza and Orbilia on my site.

Re : VIII International Photography Exhibition “Fungi Kingdom”
Hi,
I looked your myxo-photos, too.
Are you for instance sure of the Comatricha nigra? It looks pretty much like some Cribraria.
The Hemitrichia sp could be Trichia, too and Trichia botrytis seems to be without stipe and so some Trichia (T. contorta, T. percimilis,...).
Fine photos anyway.
Uuh, been with myxos too much lately...

Maybe it was not so good idea to register after all (just kidding).
Thanks.
Thanks.

I do not know why, I just checked it is working normally. Maybe it's just a temporary problem with your provider. Try http://www.naturefg.com/pages/galleries.htm?

The message is saying : " The server at www.naturefg.com is taking too long to respond.?". I will try again later ! maybe the website is temporarily busy!
Thank you.
Thank you.

Thank you so much for sharing this link! I enjoyed looking at your photos, they are really good! Not only the fungi pics are interesting, but also the pictures about the flora and fauna! I would wish that more people would be interested in to nature and that the outcome woulöd be so nice!
