In leaves of Pistacia lentiscus
Javier Ormad, 12-12-2011 23:00

Re : In leaves of Pistacia lentiscus
This appears to be a species of Tubeufia.

Re : In leaves of Pistacia lentiscus

I thought at Calonectria, but which species ?
One of them, C. paucimarosa, has been found on Pistacia but ascospores are very different.
Let's talk specialists.

You should test reaction in KOH.

Re : In leaves of Pistacia lentiscus
Alain is right, it looks like Calonectria.
Are ascomata red or darker at base? please test the changing of color in KOH, it is very impor†ant.

Re : In leaves of Pistacia lentiscus
I send the images after treatment with KOH.
The specie is Calonectria pyrochroa. Send link to friend Enrique Rubio:
