this is buried in the substrate and opens splitting the cover. I know nothing about Pirottaea, but they seems to grow on the substrate.

Hello,
I think i've got to tell You a story :)
I first found these 5.6.2009. It had been raining and the wheather was very moist. I picked them.
Home I couldn't find anything there before I hydrated the specimen. When its dry, ithese hide under the surface of Epilobium. So I think, that this is not seen very often...

je trouve que ça ressemble à Naemacyclus caulium, même si cette espèce est sensée pousser sur Urtica...

Once again representative of a genus new to me and the species possibly to Finland, too :)
