Rutstroemia Vs Ciboria...??
roman vargas alberto, 23-05-2009 12:25

Merci beaucoup.

Alberto Román.

Hi, these specimens collected on the Rhytisma acerinum between the fungus and the leaf, I think a priori by the data buses can fit Ciboria batschiana but the habitat as the color of the body (Ocraceo clear) sidetrack me.

I appreciate your opinions.

Thank you very much

Hi Roman

this seems an extremely interesting collection. I have no idea if it is described at all. Surely not C. batschiana which is restricted to Quercus fruits, but a Ciboria possibly. I would like to see your images in higher resolution. If you wish you can send them to me :

zotto@arcor.de

C. batschiana has binucleate spores, perhaps this is visible on your photos.
