Recolectada en involucró de Castaña, muy pequeña de unos 2 mm de diámetro.
Ascas lugol +y croziers +,esporas con un nucleo.

I suspect a Moellerodiscus. Could you please replace the spore photo with measurements by one with double resolution?

The VBs exclude a Ciboria. Moellerodiscus is very difficult, perhaps M. lentus. The one ascus base suggests croziers though not very clearly.

Hola de nuevo Zotto,,si tiene crociers,paráfisis con VB y las terminaciones del excipulo no me terminaban de encajar,vi en la página de Enrique Rubio,una que tenía como americana cf ese tipo de terminaciones,y también me comentan que puede ser una especie sin describir,que ya hace años apareció por la costa Cantabrica,pero que no se sabe que pudiera ser,saludos

Yes, Moellerodiscus should be sure. Very typical are the bright yellow contents of many paraphyses and exceipulum cells. In Portugal I repeatedly found similar forms (lentus s.l.) on various substrates including Castanea cupules. Not this year. lFew weeks ago I found M. lentus there with croziers on Alnus glutinosa-catkins.

Such finds should be sequenced, otherwise one cannot clarify how host-specific they are.
