I have a copy of le Gal's 1961 paper but it deals with Ascobolus sensu lato only.

However, another paper by the same author deals with the species: Le Gal, M. 1941. Les Aleuria et les Galactinia. Revue de Mycologie. 6(suppl.):56-82. The paper can be found in the Ascomycete.org digital library.
