Re : Anamorph fungus on Soil
remind me of this that I found a few year ago! both me and Keith seifert, failed to Identify it and presumed it is a new specie or a new genus, wohere there any other specimens? we seem to have lost my collection and couldn't go further.

Yes, there are another specimens.
At the location i collected 5 specimens, but im sure there are more.
For two years i found the same fungus at the same substratum, but on another location.
If you're interested on these samples, i could send you the dried samples.

best regards,
Thorben

Re : Anamorph fungus on Soil
dried sample would be rather poor as I'd wish to do axenic culture or at the very least sequencing out of them, are they alway on ground? mine was on rotten wood?

also if you can, I'd really like to have an habitat photo, so I can try to find it again myself

Best regards

Re : Anamorph fungus on Soil
Today i found 4 more specimens.
The specimens grow always on ground (with gravel, leafes and some branches), but i can't see that there grow on rotten wood.
I think the species loves ground with is rich on nitrogen, because there are many plants of Impatiens glandulifera.
I hope you find the fungus again :)

best regards,
Thorben

Re : Anamorph fungus on Soil
very interesting! unfortunatly we lack Impatiens glanduliformis, but we do have Impatiens capensis.

If you find it in large number one day please let me know as I would still be interested in them

Best regards

Ich wäre auch interessiert, den Pilz zu isolieren. Bitte schicke ihn lufttrocken in Papier eingewickelt. Herzliche Grüße         Walter
