Hi there,
for two days i found this fungus that i can't determine.
The fungus grow in the forest near a stream on soil.
I hope you can help me.

remind me of this that I found a few year ago! both me and Keith seifert, failed to Identify it and presumed it is a new specie or a new genus, wohere there any other specimens? we seem to have lost my collection and couldn't go further.

Yes, there are another specimens.
At the location i collected 5 specimens, but im sure there are more.
For two years i found the same fungus at the same substratum, but on another location.
If you're interested on these samples, i could send you the dried samples.

dried sample would be rather poor as I'd wish to do axenic culture or at the very least sequencing out of them, are they alway on ground? mine was on rotten wood?

also if you can, I'd really like to have an habitat photo, so I can try to find it again myself

Today i found 4 more specimens.
The specimens grow always on ground (with gravel, leafes and some branches), but i can't see that there grow on rotten wood.
I think the species loves ground with is rich on nitrogen, because there are many plants of Impatiens glandulifera.
I hope you find the fungus again :)

very interesting! unfortunatly we lack Impatiens glanduliformis, but we do have Impatiens capensis.

If you find it in large number one day please let me know as I would still be interested in them
