A small group of Scutellinia found on a rotting log. The majority of the hairs were quite broad and around 500 µ although there were a few up to 1100. They ranged from a simple root to multi-furcate. The spores averaged 19 x 11.5. The warts were medium sized mostly isolated but with some coalescing to make small plaques. Using various keys I ended up with S vitreola. This is not a species recorded in the UK so I am a bit sceptical. Does this look right to anyone who has experience of this species?

You assisted me with an ID for this species 3 years ago here:
Spores of my collection seem to have ornamentation that is a bit more prominent. I am never very certain with Scutellinia.
