I am trying to identify some of the unidentified finds that I made in the past days and would appriciate your comments.
I found this one on wood of Salix cf. alba and I think it might be Lophiostoma massarioides. Similar also seems to be Pseudo/Massariosphaeria. Any other options?
Location is Slovenia, near a swampy area in floodplains forest surrounded with Salix, Ulmus, Populus x can, Pseudoacacia, Fraxinus,...
Best regards!

Re : Lophiostoma massarioides?
Yes that’s probably correct. In the available keys it is the only species with such long and septate spores. However, I haven’t checked all the recently described Lophiostoma (and similar genera) species. Eduard
