Dear Forum,I found some small fruit bodies of about 2.5-3.5mm on dead Pinus.
Hairs were multifurcated, not ventricose and did not exceed 850µ. Spores measured 18.7-19.4 x11.7µ, Q>1.5 and had warts of 2-2.5µ.Any ideas?
Marc

Hopefully someone else will comment also, but I'd bet my money on Scutellinia olivascens.

Good evening Ursula,
You are right. What I saw as large warts are in fact numerous intracellular guttules.

Re : Small Scutellinia on wood
I agree that the spores are showing the internal guttules and it would need a stain such as Lactophenol Cotton Blue to show the ornamentation but still stick with S o.
