Re : Unknown ascomata on Betula wood
I think this is Patinella hyalophaea, a very rarely collected species. Large excipular cells, small ellipsoid spores, capitate brown paraphyses, inamyloid asci. The spores should containe two relatively small LBs.

Re : Unknown ascomata on Betula wood
Dear Zotto,

Amazing! Thank you :) Yes i saw 2 small dropps in some spores in koh 10%. i forgott so wrigth that.
What i find! I should read you pdf abouth that species.

This find in Sweden was on a fallen log in a steam in an area where the two lichen species Bacidina cicumpulla and Lecidea hypopta has it stronghold and also occors on fallen logs in steams.

Best regards

Robin

Seems this species likes to grow at streams.
