Literature about Geoglossum
Rajamaki Martti, 02-11-2023 23:36
Hi!

Does anybody has good suggestion about literature of Geoglossum. I have Nannfeldts article about Geoglossaceae from Sweden and adjacent area, Kes Robeek book about Geoglossum on Netherlands and Arauzos and Iglesias long article about Geoglossum sensu stricto in Macaronesia and Iberia. Also I found one nice key from Mycoquebec site. I have also a lots of articles about one orvtwo species. Is there something like good book or article which I have not found where is about Geoglossum species in Europe or in United States where is also species which have been found in Europe. I have really good literature about Glutinoglossum and Microglossum.

Is here in the Europe any groups in university who is studying Geoglossum? Somebody who I can contact with interesting specimens :)

Best regards Martti Rajamäki

Re : Literature about Geoglossum
Hello,
I've written a book of Earthtongues (ed. 2023).
This book contains a morphological study of 20 species of the genera Geoglossum, Glutinoglossum, Leucoglossum, Microglossum and Trichoglossum occurring in Flanders and the Brussels Region (Belgium). An attempt is made to document the morphological differences between the species and variants as clearly as possible using macro and microscopic photos, drawings and measurement results. No new types of views are themselves proposed. This will require genetic research. The book contains 260 pages (A4), 214 photos, 34 drawings and 69 tables. The language is Dutch. The keys are in Dutch, English and German. Order to Luc Lenaerts, luc.lenaerts100@gmail.com. Price: 45 EURO (without shipping cost). Only a few books from the 1st edition are currently available. 2nd edition is planned.
