Dumontinia tuberosa?

Question : est-ce toujours Dumontinia tuberosa ?
Merci pour votre réponse, bonne journée, ciao. Ezio

Re : Dumontinia tuberosa?
Not easy to say! The Anemone might have disappeared. Since the connection to the roots is usually not visible, you need to provide microscopy. The spores at oil immersion are required and the nuclei in them (not the LBs!) need to be seen (4 or 2). Also the ectal excipulum is helpful to distinguish the species on Ranunculus from that on Anemone.

Bonjour Hans-Otto,

Re : Dumontinia tuberosa?
Yes of course. But S. ficariae is not the right name, that is, to the present knowledge, only a synonym of S. sclerotiorum as it has too small apothecia. You must search in different forums for "binucleata", which is a provisional name.

Ciao, Ezio
