Pinkish white apothecia (turning dirty geryish pink on drying), up to 0.75 mm in diameter, stalk ca. 0.4 mm tall. Not gelatinous. Growing on leaves of moss (Homalia trichomanoides) on bark of Ulmus. Spores 30-47x7-8, 3 µm, (3?-)septate, multiguttulate, slightly constricted at septa. Asci 150-170x17-19 µm, IKI+ (bluish green in Lugol), no croziers seen, paraphyses slender, 2-2.5 µm thick), aguttulate (in water). Excipulum pale reddish brown, textura prismatica (?). All measures in water.Too small for Hymenoscyphus?

Re : Tiny pinkish apothecia on liverwort (Homalia trichomanoides)
Hello Edvin,
very interesting fungus!
My only contribution: Homalia trichomanoides is not a liverwort but a moos (Musci not Hepaticae).
Yours, Lothar

Re : Tiny pinkish apothecia on liverwort (Homalia trichomanoides)
Thanks, Lothar - my mistake. Of course it is a moss. Corrected now :-)
