on horse dungCleistothecia solitary, pyeriform, greyish, transclucent with agglutinate hairs at the tip and rhizoids at the base.
No paraphyses but round to angular cells at the tip of stroma, Asci long cylindrical to broadly clavate 180 – 230 µm × 18 – 30 µm, thin walled, eight spored. Spores ellipsoidal to amygdaliform having appendage at one side and a clearly distinct germpore, hyaline at first, then greenish and later on brownish 26 × 14 µm (33 × 18 µm, max.)

Hola Suhaib, tengo un Schizothecium sobre estiércol de vacuno parecido al que nos muestras y las claves del género con unas medidas esporales de 31-33 × 14-16 µm. me llevaron al Schizothecium aloides, pero no puedo afirmar que en tu caso se trate de este ya que los ascos de mi estudio no eran uniseriados.

Hola Josep, this is not Schizothecium aloides, because this species has very long hairtufts. It's difficult to give a name for it.
Suhaib Yatoo asked me in private and I wrote the following to him:
"I can't say for sure but I think this is Schizothecium conicum or glutinans.
Spore size 26 x 14 is perfect for Sch. conicum but too small for glutinans, whereas 33 x 18 is too large for conicum but it fits well for glutinans."
