envío la información relativa al ciclo de Talleres de Biología Molecular de Hongos que hemos organizado desde la Sociedad Ibérica de Micología (SIM). Mediante este ciclo de talleres pretendemos impartir nociones básicas de biología molecular que permita un aprendizaje posterior de manera autónoma. Está pensado para micólogos que desean comprender mejor la aportación de la biología molecular, o micólogos que desean comenzar a utilizar y analizar datos moleculares. También resultará interesante para micólogos que emplean datos moleculares pero que desean adquirir más conocimientos o comprender el fundamento de las técnicas que se utilizan.

El curso consta de 5 sesiones, y para participar en ellas es necesario inscribirse previamente a través de los enlaces que hemos puesto en la página web (https://micologiaiberica.org/2021/05/31/ciclo-de-talleres-de-biologia-molecular/). Por tanto, quien quiera acceder a las 5 sesiones, se tendrá que inscribir en los 5 enlaces. Las primeras dos primeras son gratuitas y abiertas a gente que no es socia, mientras que para las sesiones 3, 4 y 5 será necesario o bien hacerse socio (45 € de cuota de ingreso, posteriormente 30 € anuales) o bien pagar una tasa de inscripción de 30 € en la cuenta bancaria de la SIM (ES93 2085 8017 5803 3034 7032, poniendo Curso Molecular-Nombre-Apellidos como asunto)

Las 5 sesiones serán los miércoles del 23 de Junio al 21 de Julio a las 19:00 (GTM+2):

2.-Limpieza de cromatogramas y consensos (Isaac Garrido, Univ. València). 30 de JUNIO
3.-Búsquedas Blast y alineamientos (Juan Carlos Zamora, Conservatoire et Jardin botaniques de la Ville de Genève). 7 de JULIO
4.-Análisis filogenéticos y edición de árboles (María Prieto, Univ. Rey Juan Carlos). 14 de JULIO
5.-Publicación de secuencias de ADN en GenBank (Ibai Olariaga, Univ. Rey Juan Carlos). 21 de JULIO

Dear colleagues,

I attach some information regarding the series of Workshops of Molecular Biology focusing on fungi, organized by the Iberian Mycological Society (SIM). The course will be in Spanish. The course is aimed at mycologists who wish start to employ molecular data for their mycological work, but lack of a good background in the field. It will also be interesting for mycologists who use molecular data, but with aquire a better background or will know the basis of the techniques and analyses being used.

The series of workshops consists of 5 sessions and it will be necessary a previous sign-up for all of them through the links in our webpage (https://micologiaiberica.org/en/2021/05/31/workshops-cycle-of-molecular-biology/). Thus, who wants to attend the five sessions will need to sign up using the five links . The first two sessions are free and opened to everyone (but to sign up is mandatory), while to attend the remaining sessions (3,4 and 5) it is necessary either to become a member (45 € for the first year, then 30 € yearly) or to pay a fee of 30 € in our bank account (ES93 2085 8017 5803 3034 7032), with the notation Curso Molecular-Name).
