Hello everyone, can someone help me with the mushroom? The mushroom grows on an alnus branch, which I found in a stream.
Fruit body: approx. 300 x 300µ with a very small ostiole.
Asci: 8 spores, 110 x 10 µ, no porus reaction with Lugol.
Spores: 25 - 27 x 6 - 7 µ with mucous membrane.
Greetings Sven

Re : Amniculicola parva?
Hi Sven,
I guees you are right but it would be more conclusive if you could observe typically slit-like ostioles as on the attached photo.
This species does not conspicuously stain the wood purple around the ascomata as does A. lignicola but you could find some purple traces at the margins of the colony.
Cheers,
Jacques
