Hypoxylon fuscoides?
Mirek Gryc, 06-04-2020 07:46
Hello all
Sporocarps grew on Alnus wood, dehulled from bark. Right next to it, other ones grew out of the bark, but the KOH reaction indicated that it was a completely different species.

Still very poorly mature so I couldn't get a good view of the spores.

I only measured spores that looked ripe.

Gray-violet KOH reaction.
spores:
(8.7) 9 - 12.1 (12.8) × (4.4) 4.7 - 5.1 (5.6) µm
Q = 1.8 - 2.6 (2.7); N = 13
Me = 10.3 × 5 µm; Qe = 2.1

Could this be H. fuscoides?
I greet everyone in these hard times and wish you a lot of perseverance and health!
Mirek
