Hello forum,
I collected a stem of living Vaccinium vitis-idaea last spring, because there was some Lamprodermas on it. Now I studied it and noticed, that besides of Lamproderma pseudomaculatum some clusters of black tiny spiky balls grow on the stem.
One ball is about 0,2 mm and the cluster about 3 mm wide.
The black setas are up tp 60x6.
The asci are about 80-90x10 and spores 14-17x6-8 with a septum developing already inside the asci.
I have no idea of this accidently picked species, so help is needed.
Sorry about the poor quality of macrophoto, this is not a sunny day here.

Hi Marja,
you should specialise in bioluminescent fungi!
Cheers,
Jacques

Most likely this is Gibbera vaccinii.
