Lambertella tetrica?

Dear all,

on our excursion in the Leyerbachtal in Remscheid, Northrhine-Westphalia, Germany on 19.1.2020 we also found this ascomycete on dead leaves of Hedera helix. Is this Lambertella tetrica or could it also be something else?

Asci with croziers, no reaction with Lugol

Spore size (19-21) µm x (5-6) µm

Best,

Björn

Re : Lambertella tetrica?
Hi Björn

yes, I suppose so! Never saw this species myself, I only know it from the Spanish find documented by I think Raul Tena.

Would be good to figure also a lateral view of the apos to show the stalk (basally darkened?).

And the excipulum would be more important than the many hymenial pics at low resolution.
