Hola a todos.
Subo unas fotos de una Rutstroemia que encontramos sobre hojas de Euphorbia en la zona de El Valle del Lago.
Esporas de 10,7-12,9 x 4,6-5 micras.
Ascas pleurorrincas.
¿Qué les parece?
Gracias por sus respuestas.
Saludos
Rubén

Re : Rutstroemia de Somiedo
Hi Ruben!
hmm, where exactly did you collect this? On the road to Farrapona? There I made a similar collection 4 years ago, but the spores were much larger: *18-19.5 x 7-8 µm.
The asci are amyloid?
You can find my sample under Rutstroemia aff. calopus, HB 9784 in the folder calopus cf., cf. Euphorbia.
Locality: in Valle de Saliencia, the way up to the Collada de La Farrapona, 2km further up the braña Las Campas, on unidentified plant remains in the environment groups Euphorbia sp. seen in the photo.

Re : Rutstroemia de Somiedo
Thanks Gilbert! Now I found a Lambertella carpatica in my database with this substrate and spores size, and wonder if it is this species. The spores are described as eguttulate, however.
Characteristics are:
- crystals at the margin (I see small ones on Ruben's photo)
- spores turning brown with age (this depends on the maturation)
- medulla strongly amyloid (remains to be checked).

Re : Rutstroemia de Somiedo
Bonjour Zotto,
Gilbert

Re : Rutstroemia de Somiedo
Well, now we are not much wiser. Your spores do not look overmature, so this brown colour could still come. But medulla amyloidity should be seen even in a squash mount.
maybe this medulla amyloidity is variable, who knows....
