Bonjour à tous.
Sur bouze de vache dans la reserve naturelle du Westhoek je trouve 2 exemplaires de Ascobolus immersus. Un ascome contient que des asques avec 4 spores. Est-ce une anomalie ?

Hello Jacky,


I have found A. immersus as well with 4-spored asci.
The reason for this is the visibilit of all spores inside the ascus, you should see 4 very small immature hyaline spores inside these asci.


As you can see it is very hard to find them and they are not always visible, in the second photo you see 3 very small spores and 1 a little bigger.
