Lachnum with crystal heads on hairs
Andreas Gminder, 13-08-2015 21:07
Andreas Gminder

Hello,

a Lachnum from today with crystal druses on the hairs (easily washed apart in the preparation), from Tilia platyphylla.

I found no match in Zottos key, as there are no Lachnum with crystals on wood, and the spores are to big for L. clavigerum anyway.

Spores 10-12 x 2,2 µm
Asci with croziers
Paraphyses lanceolate, approx. 5 µm broad, approx. 5-10 µm protruding.
And there were some elements, which I don't know wether they are hairs are whatever, which have a refractive vacuolar body in the upper part.

Anyone an idea?

thank you and best regards,

Andreas

Hi Andreas,
to me it looks like Dasyscyphella.
Cheers,

Hello,

o.k., then it should be D. crystallina - but I had thought that I saw croziers ....

best regards,
Andreas
