Does anyone know of any papers that talk about Hypomyces on Gomphus. I searched everything that I could find and I can not see anything mentioning one growing on Gomphus. I have a collection from earlier this year that occured on Gomphus clavatus but I can not find it as a host, I am stuck on trying to figure it out.Â

are you sure the host is Gomphus? some Russulales parasited by Hypomyces look like Gomphus. Did you check the ascospores of the host?
