Phomopsis sp?

Hi all

I found these pycnidia growing on Hedera helix.
Since two types of conidia appear, I think it's Phomopsis , but I do not know if anyone is able to determine the species.

Alpha conida: 7-10 x 4.5-6um
Beta conidia: 16-23 x 2.5-3um

regards

Susana

Hi Susana,

Groves 1935 has Phomopsis pulla on Hedera (description attached).

Re : Phomopsis sp?
Thanks, Martin

But alpha conidia are wider.

Furthermore Traverso describes long beaks of the pycinidia ("lunghi rostelli"), a feature not mentioned by Groves.
