Tengo esta Nectria que recogí el mes de marzo sobre una rama seca de Berberis hispanica, yo la tengo como Nectria cinnabarina, pero ahora me surgen dudas de si podría ser Nectria berberidicola. Las medidas de las esporas son (14,00) 16,08 - 21,06 (22,79) x (3,95) 4,08 - 5,18 (6,19) µm; Me = 18,15 x 4,64 µm ; Qe = 3,94 ¿Que opinais vosotros?

Nice collection! It would be necessary to know if the ascospores are spinulose or smooth, this caracteristic is not easy to see.
Sporodochial anamorph tubercularia-like is it present on the subtratum? if so, could you please to send us a microphoto of it? I attach two photos of N. berberidicola anamorph.
Check the septation of the ascocpores, are they constantely 1-septate or not?

Las ascosporas tienen todas 1 septo, pero no logro ver con claridad si son finamente espinulosas, tan solo cuando desenfoco mucho la imagen, pero no estoy seguro de si es una ilusión optica. en cuanto al anamorfo, creo que si es el mismo de sus imágenes. Las medidas de los conidios también me encajan con N. berberidicola (8,44) 9,06 - 10,28 (11,85) x (2,40) 2,75 - 3,60 (4,18) µm; Me = 9,65 x 3,21 µm ; Qe = 3,04.

Hi to all,
I received the specimen from Salvador and confirm it is Nectria berberidiicola Hirooka, Lechat, Rossman & P. Chaverri
this one is the second collection in the world which was collected at high elevation (1364m) like the type of N. berberidiicola and N. hymalayensis.
