Chris YeatesBonsoir tous
taking advantage of the fact that Nomarski DIC illumination uses polarised light, and having a collection of Incrucipulum (Lachnum) capitatum with its beautiful crystal-tipped hairs at hand I took the opportunity to push the DIC beyond its normal use to see what polarised light would do.
These are the results - I hope this is not too light-hearted a post for a serious site like ASCOFrance (though I think not ;-) ). I promise I will submit a 'proper' image later
amitiés
Chris
