Récolte sur terre d'ornière dans bois de feuillus (Fagus + Quercus).
Apothécies jaune vif diam. 1,5-2mm , coniques à large base, souvent connées à la base par 2 à 5 ou 6.
Pas de subiculum.
Surface extérieure non poilue, si ce n'est quelques éléments non septés 5x30µ en forme de virgule.
Asques J- obliquement unisériées, 8,5x80µ.
Paraphyses cylindriques diam. 2,6-2,8µ.
Spores étroitement elliptiques 3,5-4,2x15-17µ, avec 1 septum.
Textura globularis.
J'ai cherché du côté de Inermisia, Byssonectria, Kothlabea, sans succès.

Could be hymenoscyphus epigaeus but I need to see micros in the living state to be more sure.

My previous photos were under R.Congo (little hairs), ans Mlz (hymenium).
I looked at the link you sent : the spores are not septated, mine seem to be septated.
Herunder some new examinations under R.Congo this morning :
Spores 3,8-4,8x16-19µ. Not septated OK.
Ascis 10,2x115µ with simple rounded root.
Can we conclude with H.epigeus now ?

The septa in MLZ might be "pseudosepta" caused by confluence of lipid. Now I see living spores with big oil drops whcih excludes epigaeus. Looks rather lile H. /Phaeohelotium monticola which may grow on buried wood fragments. Spore size also bette fits that species.

Yes I agree with you, the spores size fits better.
First I didn't believe in P.monticola because it has been collected on soil.
Probably some burried wood debris.
