Là aussi , espèce proche d'Arnium inaequilaterale et d'Arnium subtile; verifie la présence et le type de poils, ainsi que l'appareil apical.
Michel.

Re : Arnium Cervinum?
Hello Joop,
maybe that this is Arnium cervinum. I believe to see some stiff hairs on the neck.
The gelatinous caudae are typically excentrically attached.
This species is not rare in Saxony (Germany). So I had 17 findings on dung of deer/roedeer, but also one time on horse dung.
Arnium subtile has symmetrically placed appendages and in Arnium inaequilaterale the appendages are also more symmetrically than excentrically attached and there are no hairs of course.

Hello Michel,
The photos I added do they satisfy your question about the type of the hairs?

Re : Arnium Cervinum?
Nice new photos, Joop!
One can see the stiff hairs on the necks. But you show no mature spores!
Thatswhy I only think that it's Arnium cervinum, but I'm not sure at least!
The mature spores of my gatherings were mostly 37-43 x 18-22 µm.
Sorry, that I can't help you. To be sure, it needs more features.

Re : Arnium Cervinum?
O.K., Joop!
Your last picture shows a typical spore of Arnium cervinum.
So, in my opinion, it is this species.
