Re : Sporormiella lagenformis?
Hi,
it can't be S. lageniformis since the spores do not have oblique septations. I think your finding should more be S. dubia, which has spores about 37-41x6-7µm.
You can also compare with so many Sporormiella collections on my page, Funghiparadise.
regards,
björn

Re : Sporormiella lagenformis?
Hello Hannie,
I think that Sporormiella dubia is a good idea.
You show some spores with typical parallel germslits.
It would be nice if you say something about the substrat.
Sporormiella dubia is a widespread species on horse dung.
Best wishes
Norbert

Re : Sporormiella lagenformis?
Cela semble bien être S.dubia. Les fentes germinatives et les cellules terminales correspondent, ainsi que la longueur des cellules entre elles.
Bonsoir à tous.
Michel.

Re : Sporormiella lagenformis?
Bonjour,
la clé de Ahmed & Cain et la description dans Revision of the genera Sporormia and Sporormiella ( Dept of Bot. University of Toronto June 16, 1971 me mène plustôt vers Sporormiella australis .
1. ascospores four celled
2.Ascospores in two or more series
4.Perithecia and neck not hairy
7.Asci cylindrical, abruptly contracted below into a short stipe.
Je préfère ce dernier choix car l'alternative qui mène à S.dubia mensionne 7. Asci tapering gradually from the broadest part near the apex into a short or elongated stipe.
Il me semble que les asques sont plustôt clindriques.

Re : Sporormiella lagenformis?
Bjorn I think I shotly put your sites in the favorites and I'll look at your site. Norbert I fotgot to mention it but it grows on horse dung. At first I came with the key in Doveri also at Sporormiella dubia, but later on I doubted if I was wrong. Is there another key or lecture about de genus Sporormiella?
I thank you all for the help.
Regards Hannie
