Elisabeth StöckliBonsoir,Sur feuilles d'Osmunda regalis (Saulaie),
Apothecia 5 mm across
Hairs maximum 690 x 27 with simple to bi-furcate roots
Spores 18 x 15 with large tubercules
Is this one S umbrarum? or even S patagonica?
Thanks
Mal
Ps this specimen was lost in transit so I have no material available

You're in good group (umbrorum-patagonica-subhirtella...) but it's difficult to say anymore here.
This group is particularly difficult...

Have I seen this collection under my microscope ? I suppose no...
It's interesting, the last one photo, perhaps a special species in this complex, but work is on course...
I don't know...
Cheers,
Beñat
Unfortunately this specimen was lost so I was not able to send a sample. I just came across the photo, which had been mis filed while tidying up photos of my last years records but it was tied in to the record in this post.
