I want some information on the "Icones "
Spooren Marco, 10-06-2012 20:59
Spooren MarcoHello,

I saw somewhere that there was an edition made last year of Boudier's cones Mycologicae ".(By Nabu Press )
Does someone know what the quality is from that print?

I understood that there was a topic on this site about the Icones, but the searchmachine doesnt work. (Or I do something wrong. ).

Best regards,

Marco.

Re : I want some information on the "Icones "
I purchased a print on demand version of the Icones from Amazon.com that was done by by book renaissance.  The quality was horrendous.  I purchased all 4 volumes and the only thing worth keeping was the text volume 4.  The images were in black and white and were completely blurry, obliterated, or oddly pixelated.  They were very nice though when I wanted to return them and they told me to keep them and gave me my refund.  I try not to look at them as they are such a travesty it nearly makes me weep!  I hope you can find a good copy somewhere!

Re : I want some information on the "Icones "
Thank you,Jason and John for the reply's.No,a black/white book isnt an "Icones ".And I knew the Mycotaxon information, I did'nt know the books are online, but I prefer a "live "book in my bookshelf.I think I must buy ,If I still want to,a set for 500 Euros.

Best regards,

Marco
