Cette espèce a le faciès de Giromitra infula et de G. ambigua. Cependant ces deux espèces présentent, à maturité, des appendices polaires de forme arrondie et les ascospores sont plus grandes, surtout chez G. ambugua. La question est, les ascospores observées et mesurées étaient-elles matures ?? Si oui il pourrait s'agir d'une espèce particulière, et il faudrait creuser. Si non, je vous invite à retourner à cet endroit pour effectuer une nouvelle récolte afin d'observer et de mesurer des ascospores matures !
