Thanks in advance!

Re:Hymenoscyphus caudatus?
This is not easy to answer. In the current sense this is clearly H. caudatus. But when I scan through my photos, I see mostly smaller LBs in the spores. In a few finds I see such large LBs but the spores are here strongly scutuloid, i.e. basally acute, as in the one here:
My notes : Andechs, Goaslweide, 16.X.05, leaf of Quercus. Ap. whitish, stipe longer than disc diam. Asci without croziers, *110-122 x 11.7-12.5 µm. Sp. free *16-20 x (4.5-)5.4-5.7 µm, Ölm.5, large LBs 2-3 µm. Paraph. VBs 1(-2)refr.
You say the VBs were yellow. Did the disc also appear yelowish then?

Re:Hymenoscyphus caudatus?
Thanks Zotto
Yes oil content is other thing that does not fit...
VBs are light yellow, but in the field I remember pure white apos. Maybe when drying they got more yellowish, sorry but I don´t remember, neither annotated that.
Spore shape seems different but this vary so much within the same apo sometimes...
I send you by mail the link with all the original photos so you can get more info.
Raúl.
