your image are a bit small, and I am not even sure whether you are dealing perhaps with a pyrenomycete. Do you have a macrophoto? Did you test IKI for the ascus apex?

asci closer Lenght is approx 70um , IKI is iodine right? I tried in KOH and Lugol both negative. I dont have iodine

your camera is obviouly not suited for macro, sorry. Maybe you can put a leaf uner the microscope at the lowest magnification and lighten with a lamp from above?
These asci lok alive, but the spores reach down to the base. Looks a bit like a pyreno. I hope that Alain is also looking here.

Dear Ismael,
I think your fungus is maybe Bionectria coronata or Pseudonectria rousseliana.
Hairs around the ostiolar region (on your picture) resemble to these species.
Could you please to show us a perithecium observed in drop of water without cover glass at low magnification?

well on other leaves it does have the pink of Volutella. The spores of pseudonectria are, in my view, to small and whynot mention the many guttulae?

you should have to test reaction in KOH and lactic acid.

right lactic acid, i dont think i have that. In KOH no reactions. Can you buy lactic acid under what name? I still feel P. rousseliana is not the one....Because well i dont know :-/ because of the guttalae i suppose, ellis doesnt mention it, and the length seems to be longer

hi there, unfortunately i cannot find those forms. What was the magnification you used? The ones i've got seem to be imbedded in the leave, the ones you are showing are on the leave yes? Best picture i can get is the next one, i think they begin a bit pinkish and end up black. Also the spore you are showing are very different from mine. Yourse are not full with droplets mine are

I'm happy because I've never studied it before.
Perithecias are well immersed so it couldn't be Bionectria or Pseudonectria.
One Hyponectria has been synonymized with Eupropolella (=Polystigma volkartianum). So your idea was not a bad idea.

Hopefully someone solves it someday, this is a more difficult problem as all Lachnum species belonging to Tricholomataceae a couple of years ago in index fungorum :)
