Pyreno on Populus branch
Enrique Rubio, 31-01-2017 20:27
Enrique RubioThese very small (up to 200 microns high), black, conical, superficial, gregarious, scattered, ostiolate, somewhat glabrous pyrenomycete was found on a thin branch of Populus nigra lying on the ground.
Asci bitunicate, 8-spored. Pseudoparaphyses trabeculate. Ascospores 1-septate, hyaline, later perhaps brownish (?), somewhat dimorphic, no sheath.
Could you help me with it? Maybe a Didymella species?
Thanks again
