These specimens were found in the same day than the Patellaria atrata considered at
http://www.ascofrance.fr/search_forum/42904
in the nearby sand dunes on an old piece of Arundo. The main differences for that species are the existence of a blue pigment in the epihymenium and the wider spores, for which got the following dimensions:
(29.9) 30.8 - 39.3 (42.8) × (6.9) 7.1 - 9.3 (10.1) µm
Q = (3.5) 3.7 - 4.8 (4.9) ; N = 31
Me = 35.5 × 8.2 µm ; Qe = 4.3
Again, if I understood correctly the comments by Zotto regarding my topic
http://www.ascofrance.fr/search_forum/37495
this should be Patellaria crassispora. However, I don't know if this name is valid; I could only find references to Patellaria crassispora Baral nom. prov. from 2010. Maybe Zotto can add some information about it.
Thanks,
zaca

Re : Patellaria "crassispora" on Arundo
Yes, I think this is P. crassispora, particularly because of the blue pigment and spore shape.
Undescribed, as so many species. But Patellaria is difficult and somewhat variable. Sequence data are lacking so far to support the morphological findings.

Re : Patellaria "crassispora" on Arundo
I do have genetic sequence of it from pure culture (wich is also preserved), however it come from a north-american specimen, and I feel like we should also have a sequence of a north america P atrata, to confirm distinction.
