on populus
peter peperkamp, 24-10-2012 21:16
this asco on twigs, Asci slightly J+ and operculate.
spores 14.5 -16.4 long,  looks a little warthy within the ascus but it appears to be little drops  of oil, further the spores contain 2 big droplets of oil.
who has a suggestion ?

Peter

Hello Peter

Yes, Rutstroemia luteovirescens is most probable (also Martin Bemmann gave me that idea). But the substrate should then be petioles of Acer.

Re : on populus
oef.... did I go wrong with that ,,, And I draw the right example on the first page of my E & E.. so I wont forget !!!!
And  I found it on a grassy site in a little park with large Populus , but Acer stood there to a little further away, so it could be Acer as wel ...
